Thank you for your interest in booking a cruise with Teman Liveaboard. Please take a moment to read the following terms and conditions carefully. By confirming your booking, you automatically agree to these conditions.
1. INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS
1.1 All Cruises Include:
Transfers from the airport to the boat on departure and return days
Non-alcoholic beverages: Mineral water, soda, juices, local coffee, and tea
Meals served three times daily and snacks throughout the day
An English and/or French-speaking Cruise Director
Snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, fins)
Towels and bed linens
Water sports equipment (kayaks and stand-up paddles)
Beach BBQs and volleyball (when conditions permit)
1.2 Diving Cruises Include:
A maximum of three guided dives per day
English-speaking local dive guides
Full 12L dive tanks, weight belts, and weights
1.3 All Cruises Exclude:
Bank fees and commissions associated with payment
Domestic flight tickets to/from the vessel departure location
Raja Ampat Park & Port fees: 200€/person
Komodo Park & Port fees: 35€/day/person
Fuel surcharges (refer to the Price List)
Dive equipment rentals (refer to the Price List)

Gratuities for the crew (recommended: 5-15% of the cruise price)
2. RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSITS
2.1 Deposit for All Bookings
All reservations must be made via email, specifying the cruise date, the number of berths required, all passenger names, and any special requirements. All prices published on our website are cash prices when payments are made via bank transfer. A deposit of 30% of the total price per person is required to confirm the booking (payment details in Clause 4) and must be sent no later than 10 days after receiving the invoice. If this deposit is not received within this period, your reservation will be nullified, and we cannot guarantee the availability of the chosen cruise.
2.2 Deposits for Groups and Full Charter Bookings
270 to 181 days prior to departure: A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required at the time of booking for confirmation (non-refundable and non-transferable).
180 to 91 days prior to departure: A deposit of 40% of the total amount is required at the time of booking for confirmation (non-refundable and non-transferable).
3. PAYMENT OF THE BALANCE
3.1 General
The balance payment for individual bookings or boat charters must be made to Teman Liveaboard 90 days before the cruise departure. If full payment is not received by this date, Teman Liveaboard reserves the right to cancel the booking and enforce the cancellation policy outlined in Clause 5.
3.2 Short Notice Bookings
For reservations made less than 90 days prior to departure, full payment must be made at the time of booking. Refer to the payment instructions in Clause 4 for details.
4. PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS
4.1 Bank Transfers
Payments can be made via bank transfer to our account in Indonesia. Please include the cruise reference and passenger(s) full name(s) in the transfer details.

4.3 Onboard Payment
Payments made onboard must be in cash, accepted in IDR, USD, EUR, or SGD.
5. CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS
5.1 General
Any cancellation or changes to a reservation must be communicated via email to Teman Liveaboard at info@temanliveaboard.com.
5.2 Amendment Fees
A fee of 50 EUR will be charged for any changes made to your booking 90 days or less before the departure date. Changing the cruise date will be treated as a cancellation and require a new booking. The date Teman Liveaboard receives modifications via email or registered post will determine whether a fee will be charged. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays will be considered as the next business day.
5.3 Cancellation Fees
If a reservation is canceled 121 days or more prior to departure, a cancellation fee of 100 EUR per person per booking will be deducted from the deposit, and the remaining amount will be returned or credited to future bookings. The date Teman Liveaboard receives modifications via email or registered post will determine whether a fee will be charged. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays will be considered as the next business day.
Cancellation Fee Policy for Individual Bookings:
120 to 91 days prior to departure: 30% of the cruise rate as a cancellation fee.
90 days or less prior to departure: 100% of the cruise rate.
Cancellation Fee Policy for Groups or Full Charters:
More than 270 days prior to departure: 10% fee applied.
270 to 181 days prior to departure: 20% fee applied.
180 to 91 days prior to departure: 40% fee applied.
90 days or less prior to departure: 100% of the cruise rate.
Reduction of Number of Passengers on a Full Charter:
More than 9 months (271 days) from departure: the reservation may be reduced to one paying passenger, resulting in the loss of complimentary space(s).
270 to 181 days before departure: 20% of the individual rate per canceled passenger is forfeited, resulting in a reduction or loss of complimentary space(s).
180 to 91 days before departure: 40% of the charter rate per canceled passenger is forfeited, resulting in a reduction/loss of complimentary space(s).
90 days or less before departure: no refund for a reduction in the number of passengers.
Reduction of Number of Passengers on a Group Charter: For a reduction in the number of passengers on a group charter, the booking status will revert to that of an individual booking, with the same cancellation fees applying.
5.4 Travel Cancellation Insurance
It is highly recommended that all customers purchase travel cancellation insurance.
5.5 Substitute Passengers
If a booked passenger is unable to attend, the reservation can be transferred to another person, who will be subject to Teman Liveaboard’s contract conditions. Passenger substitution is allowed up to three days before departure, or less depending on the cruise. Teman Liveaboard assumes no responsibility for changes to any bookings not made by Teman Liveaboard on behalf of the passenger (i.e., air tickets, hotel reservations, etc.). A fee will be charged as per Clause 5.2.
5.6 No-Show Policy
If a passenger fails to show up at the meeting point (airport, harbor, boat, etc.), Teman Liveaboard staff will wait for up to three hours, provided they are informed. In both cases, Teman cannot be held responsible, and the no-show will be treated as a last-minute cancellation. No refunds will be issued.
5.7 Insurance
Medical evacuation insurance that covers diving activities is mandatory. We strongly recommend that passengers purchase additional insurance that covers trip cancellation, diving equipment, and luggage.
6. CHANGES TO BROCHURE DESCRIPTION AND/OR WEBSITE, CHANGES TO RATES AND TRANSPORTATION COSTS
6.1 Changes Before Conclusion of the Contract
Teman Liveaboard reserves the right to alter brochure information, service descriptions, and prices at any time before booking. If necessary, we will inform the agent or individual client prior to entering the contract. The date the contract is entered is the date we receive the booking fee.
6.2 Changes to Price After Contract Has Been Entered
In rare circumstances, price increases may occur due to:
Increases in transportation costs (including fuel)
Increases in state taxes and duties (e.g., embarkation/disembarkation fees, sales taxes)
Currency fluctuations
Teman Liveaboard reserves the right to increase the agreed price up to 90 days prior to departure.
6.3 Itinerary and Service Changes After Booking and Before Departure
Teman Liveaboard reserves the right to change the itinerary and specific services if required due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances. We will make every effort to provide equivalent alternatives of comparable standard and will inform the agent or individual client of such changes as soon as possible.
7. TRIP CANCELLATION BY TEMAN LIVEABOARD
7.1 Force Majeure and Unpredictable Acts of Man
Teman Liveaboard reserves the right to cancel a trip for reasons of Force Majeure (e.g., natural disasters, epidemics) or unavoidable acts of man (e.g., war, riots, strikes). We will inform you as early as possible in such cases.
7.2 Trip Cancellation for Other Reasons
Teman Liveaboard reserves the right to cancel a trip for other unavoidable reasons and will notify the customer promptly.
8. CHANGES TO THE ITINERARY AND SERVICES
Teman Liveaboard reserves the right to change the itinerary during a trip if necessary (e.g., due to weather conditions).
9. DAMAGES RESULTING FROM PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, OR DEATH
Teman Liveaboard assumes no liability for damages resulting from personal injuries, illness, or death sustained during any trip, regardless of the means of transportation or service provided. In the event of a medical emergency, the responsibility for any associated costs lies solely with the passenger.
10. LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Teman Liveaboard is not responsible for loss or damage to guests’ personal belongings due to Force Majeure causes (refer to Clause 8.2).
11. MINIMUM DIVING EXPERIENCE REQUESTED
To join the cruise, a minimum dive level of PADI Advanced Open Water or CMAS level 2 is required, along with at least 50 dives at sea. Divers with a lower level may participate but will require specific coaching at an additional cost. Please consult us for more information.
12. DISABILITIES
By forwarding the deposit, the agent or individual guest certifies that the passenger does not have any mental, physical, or other condition or disability that would pose a hazard to themselves or other passengers. Teman Liveaboard reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any individual from the tour at any time.
